401(K) SAVINGS PLAN: Under this tax deferred retirement savings program, the company matches a portion of the amount you invest. There are several investment options available. Employees are eligible after being employed for twelve consecutive months.

VACATIONS: The company’s vacation plan offers employees from two weeks to four weeks per year depending on length of service.

PERSONAL TIME OFF: The company allows limited time off with pay for death in the immediate family and jury duty.

SICK TIME: The company offers six days per year to be used for illness, doctor, dental, or other medically related appointments.

WORKER’S COMPENSATION: All employees are covered under the company’s Worker’s Compensation program. This program covers most job-related injuries, except in cases of drug or alcohol abuse or willful intent of the employees.

Medical: Medical coverage begins after 30 consecutive days of employment. The plan covers all types of medical expenses arising out of surgery, sickness, or non-occupational injury to you and your covered dependents. Services include physician office visit, surgery, outpatient surgery, second surgical opinion, hospital expenses, ambulance, accidents, laboratory tests, x-rays, generic and non-generic prescription drugs.

DENTAL: Under our dental plan, most services are covered, including routine checkups and teeth cleaning, dental x-rays, fillings, bridges and crowns. American Dental offers two plans and is available to employees who have completed 30 consecutive days of employment.

FLEX REIMBURSEMENT: The Flex Reimbursement Plan enables employees to put pre-tax dollars into a flex plan account to pay health care costs such as medical plan deductibles and dental expenses not otherwise covered. Employees may also put money into a flex-account to pay dependent care costs.

ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES: The company offers a membership in a full-service gym and encourages employees to participate in its use as a means to better health.

LIFE INSURANCE: The company offers life insurance to all full-time employees who have been employed for twelve consecutive months.

LONG-TERM DISABILITY: The company offers LTD insurance to all full-time employees who have been employed for twelve consecutive months.

RAINBOW RECOVERY: The company offers a sick childcare program through Morton Plant Hospital. Employees are encouraged to take advantage of this program when their children are too ill to attend regular daycare or school.

CONTINUING EDUCATION REIMBURSEMENT: The company is committed to continuing education as a means of allowing its employees to maintain up-to-day information about their profession.

COBRA: The company complies with the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986 that allows participating employees to continue medical coverage following the occurrence of certain qualifying events.

 

UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION: Each year the company contributes a percentage of its gross payroll to the State Unemployment Insurance Fund.
